A website about cultural heritage

It is with great pleasure that we announce the launch of our new website, www.inuitheritage.gl. This significant step into the digital world is the result of dedication and support from several foundations, including Aage V. Jensen’s Foundation, 15 June Foundation, Augustinus Foundation and Qeqqata Kommunia.

Our website is not just another online platform; it is a tribute to the World Heritage Aasivissuit – Nipisat, an area of cultural and historical importance. This amazing heritage is a source of pride for Greenland, and our website was created to share its wealth with the world.

Although www.inuitheritage.gl is still under development, we are eager to give you an insight into what has come and what lies ahead. An interactive map showing the remarkable features of Aasivissuit – Nipisat will be launched later. This map will let visitors explore the area and its history in a unique way.
