Experience World Heritage Site Aasivissuit – Nipisat

There are different activities to experience in Aasivissuit – Nipisat and each season has its own charm. For example explore the area by boat safari during the summer or try a dogsledge trip while it’s winter. 

Entry points into Aasivissuit – Nipisat is across water, land or air from the two gate towns Sisimiut and Kangerlussuaq. To arrive to these towns you can either go by ship or airplane, and then you can decide if you want to explore nature in the vast landscape or learn more about the history and culture while in town. You can also visit the settlement Sarfannguit which is located within the World Heritage Site.
